I, Nancy, MOVE that the corporation setup an 800 number, to take name/number/message from callers in the name of Troubled Times, Inc. I further MOVE that the corporation establish a team of individuals qualified and willing to return such calls, and that these individuals be reimbursed for long distance charges incurred. I further MOVE that Nancy, as reliable administrator in a stable setting, call the answering service daily to check for calls and messages. I further MOVE that since such an answering service exists in Baraboo, 5 miles away, that this service be used so that extensive messages can be physically picked up and no long distance phone charges are incurred for the daily pickup. I further MOVE that informing the answering team of the message be done via e-mail to the team. I further MOVE that a PO Box be established in Baraboo, for mailed requests such as video, brochure, or contributions to the nonprofit, and Nancy be assigned to check this box and act as the mailing clerk for the present.
RESULT: a public contact other than the village area would be established.

I, Nancy, MOVE that Ron be pre-paid $2,000 toward the trip to Texas, the remainder of expenses to be paid upon completion of the move when exact costs are known. I further MOVE that in light of our custom of paying travel expenses for those who have come to work on nonprofit projects, we compensate Ron for his trip to Wisconsin in March, 1999, expenses including $250 for lodging, $125 for meals on the road, and $145.60 for gas ($520.60 total). I, Nancy, can vouch that this trip took several days, as he was then under doctor's orders to not overdo, and that he arrived in Wisconsin in his car, having made the trip via this route. I further MOVE that since the Board approved the unwritten policy of payment of expenses when receipts have been lost, if signed statements and witnesses can be secured as to the expense, that Ron's record of these costs be taken as a "receipt".
RESULT: the corporation is consistent and fair in reimbursing travel expenses.

I, Nancy, MOVE to appoint Nancy as Treasurer, with a turnover of the Quickbooks to Nancy prior to Ron's move to Texas. I further MOVE that the Board plan to appoint another individual as Internal Auditor during the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting, using Nancy's published Excel spreadsheet and a full copy of the PO's, check stubs, and receipts as a starting point.
RESULT: Wegner LLP in Baraboo continues as CPA, donations collection uninterrupted, donors reassured.
