Campground Cottage Repair
During the recent trip by the Vice President, Clipper, to the Headquarters to assist in carpentry repairs, it was noted that the cottage needs attention. Clipper and Ron concluded that the cottage was not built on side, but was moved from another location. A door from the bathroom addition leads to an 8 foot dropoff, so this door should be closed (the opening replaced by plywood, inside and out). The front windows are framed for large windows inappropriate for the cottage, so only the top part has window panes, the lower panes currently replaced by flimsy pressboard. As these windows are not required they should likewise be closed (the opening replaced by playwood, inside and out). A small window in the bathroom, a small window in the front, and two small windows along the street side of the house cannot be opened, and should be replaced by standard small windows with screen for ventilation.
The cost of these improvements and carpentry services has not yet been established, but is estimated for budgeting purposes to be $1,500.
