Dear Friend,
We at Troubled Times Inc. are interested in the education of the public in the skills of gardening and the self-sufficiency of propagating seed for gardening. To that end we have worked toward collecting a storage of seed and a proliferation of instructions in growing and harvesting vegetables for seed. Our primary method of information exchange is currently through the Internet via a website (../nonproft/98002001.htm and related pages) and an email discussion group (tt-seeds@yahoogroups.com). Currently we have 44 members and are hoping to increase that number soon.
Since Seed Savers Exchange has a vested interest in the education of the public in the ways of propagating seed, we are hoping that it might be possible for you to donate a portion of your excess or aging seed to our cause. A few of our members are also members of SSE (one of which is myself).
If this is something you are willing to do, please contact us at the above address (or contact me by email at rthum@ksu.edu) for delivery instructions.
Sincerely,
Roger Thuma
