99-003 Shortwave as Internet
This project is up and running, with regular classes and enthusiastic attendees. The classes simulate various types of short wave communications. During 1999, the Board funded $250 to ship Ron's transmitter and purchase an antenna. The antenna was setup in a nearby tall tree. Easly in 2000, a designated contribution funded an intercontinental antenna, which will be erected during the year after a building permit is secured. A request for a $3,500 amp booster is outstanding. Ron is the Principal and class instructor.
