Troubled Times Server Report March 2004 This month I'm still working on contacts to assist with the install. I've met some interesting people online, but most of them seem to be working with Red Hat Linux rather than Deiban. I don't believe there is much difference between the versions of Linux, but then I admit I am completely unfamiliar with the Linux operating system. Still no word from Rogers friend at MIT.....maybe after the spring semester he will have more time to help us. I suppose there is the possibility that we could just forget about Linux completely, and switch to a Microsoft operating system - we may have more luck getting the server up and running. On the downside, we would probably be more prone to internet hacking - the hackers don't seem to harass Linux servers as much as Microsoft servers. At this point I not sure what direction to go in, so in the mean time I just keep talking to people, and hope for a breakthrough. End of Report
