Moon Orbit Aberations

I took this photo in Italy and verified time given by programs and again, surprise! [Note: out of phase, should be a half moon, is a cresent.]

 

November 12

The moon is now quite far north in the sky in Missouri. [and from another source] Moon rise has been to the extreme N/NE one night, then due east the next! Also to set in the same fashion, S/SW then due west another night!
